You may think it’s odd but a big percentage of the adults in the world have gum disease. This isn’t just some speculation but based on statistics – it turns out that a majority of these people who have problems with their gums are not aware of their own condition which is why we should do what we can do to diagnose ourselves and alleviate the symptoms that are associated with gum diseases. But you may be one of the people who are not aware of gum disease until now. Well, you’re a bit lucky as I’ll show you my proven techniques on how to get rid of gum disease and prevent it from coming back.
Periodontitis is an evolved version of gingivitis – the milder version of gum disease and it’s quite important that we get rid of gum disease at its early stages to prevent it from progressing to its problematic state. In this editorial, we’ll be starting with the most common and easiest methods to cure periodontitis – the saline solution. It’s available in local drugstores but if you don’t have the luxury to go and buy them, you can make them right at home as it’s just a simple mixture of clean warm water and salt.
What you simply have to do is gargle this solution and the salt will help get rid of the bacteria and the temperature of the water will promote blood circulation to speed up the healing process. The ratio doesn’t matter but you can add salt if you can still handle it then add water if it’s too salty. Doing this several times a day will help in alleviating the pain and will also show great improvement in your dental health after a few weeks.
The next thing you’d want to do to get rid of periodontal disease is to get lots of vitamin C – calcium is for the teeth but the gums need a lot of vitamin C to maintain their healthy state. But here’s the catch – some vitamin C supplements may be acidic and bad for the teeth so what I would recommend is to get healthy and natural sources of it such as fruits and vegetables. Natural fruit juice such as orange and apple juice are also great source for vitamin C so get them if you have the chance.
Finally, you should learn how to love your dentist – what I mean is to visit your dentist in a regular basis. Every 6 months is good enough if you don’t have any issues; and doing all these simple things will do you great favors on your dental health.
